Plans by age and height
Age bands only narrow the choices; every attraction still applies its own height, weight and adult-accompaniment rules.
Ages 0–5
Start with Toddler Water Forest, Forest Party and indoor breaks; an adult should stay with the child.
Ages 6–12
Measure height first, then choose attractions using the 115 cm or 130 cm threshold.
Children 130 cm and taller
More options open up, but Sky Tower still applies 17–100 kg and health limits.
Teens and adults
Consider higher-threshold water, river and challenge activities while following footwear and health rules.
Older companions
Prioritise exhibitions, shows and shaded rests; do not push through attractions with a 65+ restriction.

Do children under six need a ticket?
Admission is free for a child under six or under 115 cm. A child who is 115 cm or taller is still checked by birth date and supporting document.
Who qualifies for a child ticket?
A child ticket is for ages six through 12, or height 115–150 cm. An age-eligible child over 150 cm must show proof.
Can I still apply for a festival passport?
Event-period passports remain available for Yilan residents, non-residents and students, for personal unlimited entry. Early-bird sales have ended.
Does the festival open in rain?
The official FAQ says water areas may remain open in ordinary rain, but this is not a guarantee that every attraction operates.
Do attractions close during lightning?
Lightning, torrential rain or strong wind can suspend water, river and Sky Tower attractions.
Where can I check typhoon closures?
